    • Year 5 Literacy Challenge

On Friday, 16 January, four students gave up a day of school to go to Invicta Grammar School.  We went there for a literacy challenge and to represent our school.  When we got there, we answered and solved a selection of questions which were a little tricky but we managed.  This tremendous day was a great experience.  Therefore I would recommend next year's year 5 teachers sending another four to represent Paddock Wood Primary School; the experience will never be forgotten.

Our last league netball match of the season was played on Tuesday, 20 January 2015 against St Paul's with a team consisting of Chloe, Alicia, Aidan, Hannah, Savannah, Hannah and Jennifer. They all played extremely well, with excellent defending and we were pleased to see all the members of the team listening carefully to advice and improving their play throughout the match. The final score was 1-1. Mrs Maynard
