    • Macmillan Cake Sale

      Awesome Autumn Bake Sale

At the start of the week we were busy baking delicious treats such as cookies, muffins, cakes and flapjacks to raise money for Macmillan Cancer Support. On Tuesday 13th October we sold these goodies to Years 3, 4, 5 and 6 at playtime. We couldn’t believe the huge queues we had! Although it was hard work baking so many yummy things (and trying not to eat them!), it was all for a good cause and we are so pleased with the result. Thank you to everyone who donated cakes for us to sell; we were overwhelmed by your support. We are so proud to say that we raised a whopping……… £200.36.

Our goal was actually £50, but as you can see we smashed this by quite some way! Thank you again for your donations.

Later in the week we are planning on taking a trip into town to pay in the money we raised. We are sure Macmillan will be pleased with our result, so thank you!

      Kind regards,

Isabella, Racheal, Gemma, Maddie, Macy, Eloise and Emily

    • Football Tournament - Hawkenbury

On Friday 16 October our boys and girls A teams participated in the West Kent District competition at Hawkenbury, Tunbridge Wells.

Both teams played exceptionally well. The boys reached the semi-finals before suffering their only defeat (1-0) and team captain Finn Hartley was the tournament’s top scorer with 9 goals.

The girls also did fantastically in their first ever tournament, reaching the final before eventually losing 1-0.

Overall it was a great day. Both teams displayed true spirit and determination as well as playing throughout with a positive sporting attitude.

      They made us incredibly proud.
