The school football teams this season has participated in a variety of football matches and tournaments.

The A league was an extremely difficult league. They had many ups and downs however they carried on until the end and eventually finished 4th. Also they made it to the semis in one tournament and finished 3rd in another tournament. One member of the A-team, Joe Wallis, has also been selected to play for the West Kent District team.

This season was great for the B-team as they won the B league undefeated winning their first game 8-0 and they also won the Hawkenbury Small Schools tournament.

    • Girls Football News

There is a girl’s football club organised by Mrs. Sutherland and Mr. Cole for year 5 and 6.

Our first match we unfortunately lost 2-1, however, our next match went extremely well as we won 6-1. Our last match we also won 5-1.

We have enjoyed playing and representing our school in the girl’s team. In training we have also learnt how to improve on shooting, passing and ball control, as wells keeping position during a game. We have all improved on everything over the year and will continue playing.
