    • Pupils are friendly, mature and behaviour is good. They willingly help others in school and the local community.

    • Displays are fabulous, the corridors and new library look vibrant. A school to be proud of.

    • A happy environment, my daughter is always ready to go to school. Good discipline and excellent academic progress.

    • 6H try some Egyptian Embalmment

During a series of science lessons, 6H have transformed into ancient Egyptian embalmers this week (much to their disgust!). The fun began by slicing into a dead body (no, not a real one - a tomato!)

    • Putlands Vets visit EYFS

In each of the Foundation Stage classrooms there has been a vet role-play area this term.

On Tuesday of this week the children had a very special treat when two of our Foundation Stage parents kindly came into the department to talk to the children about their work at the local vets.

The children were delighted when they were shown living guinea pigs together with a model of a dog, which was very realistic.

A very big thank you to Tracey Bristow and Lynn Gardener for giving up their time and for enthralling and enthusing the children.  A great deal of learning and good work has resulted from their visits.
